MSN Plus

Ok, so I’m sure many of you know about MSN Plus. It’s been around since, well… MSN first came out. It creates and enhances features that most people don’t even know exist. Of course, I didn’t make this. I’m just advertising it’s awesomeness and giving some tips on what some of those features do.

So let’s begin with what MSN Plus can do… Or better yet, what can’t it do? Some of the features include being able to change the font and color of your name. Increases the limit of the amount of text you can send. A better chat log than the original,  custom sounds, quick chat… geeze, way too much to type!

One of my favorite tools is the POP3 notifier. The reason behind this is because I use Microsoft Outlook for my personalized emails for Waloosh and sometimes I don’t feel like keeping Outlook open just to never see any new messages popup. MSN Plus allows you to connect multiple POP3 emails to your MSN so it can tell you when you receive a new email in the same sense as you would for an email from Hotmail. It just doesn’t tell you who’s emailed you.

It will even save all of the custom emoticons that people send you. This is one of my favorite features because I reformat my computer a lot, and to have these backed up like that is just a lifesaver… for emoticons fans such as myself.

One thing I know a lot of people like is tabbed contacts. I’m not sure why people like this.. maybe because it keeps it organized or something, but it confuses the hell out of me. I highly recommend this download for your MSN. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever installed.
